Customer unfriendly

I had to order an adapter for my Mac urgently, looking at Amazon.in’s promises and tall claims, I thought I should give it a try.


I had mistakenly ordered the wrong adapter from this particular seller which I realized after it didn’t fit into my Macbook Pro.


So, I logged in a return request with this seller. Mess started when the seller refused to return and refund. Then began a series of phone calls from my side and emails (via Amazon portal).


To start with, the seller sounded very rude and straightaway refused to return and refund, every time blaming me for ordering the wrong product.


This was very surprising as amazon boasts about its customer satisfaction. After two weeks of communication leading to no result, I finally, had to give in to this seller’s conditions.


I felt like I was trapped and had no option. I had to courier the product back on my own and get the replacement which was Rs. 900 less on Amazon itself, but I didnt get the difference refunded.


Also, there was no communication or acknowledgement from this seller after I had couriered him the product.


So, if I add Rs. 300 courier charges to this Rs. 900, I lost total Rs. 1200 in this’deal’ plus one full month of my precious time. Now, even after complaining to Amazon about the above mentioned seller, nothing has happened.


And to my surprise, he continues to sell his product on the same portal. I am really scared of ordering anything from Amazon.in after this experience.
