If Ordering from Amazon.In, be prepared for Delivery nightmares.
The Delivery team does NOT call you up before coming.
Amazon does send you Courier persons name and mobile. My experience has been is that this information is not reliable(Happened to me twice that the Delivery person I called, told me that he does NOT have my package).
Since they do not provide time estimate, and the delivery guy does not bother to call before coming, you have to ensure someone is always available to take your delivery. This is bad for those who are staying alone. Either wait for full day or have someone take delivery on your behalf.
Lastly, they update you when the Courier is out for your Delivery. This again is misleading. Twice, my experience is that if they fail to deliver the same day(as what Amazon SMS’s you), they simply update the status as "Addressee Not available"
