This is the second time I have stayed in Ambassador Resort which shows that I had a very good experience previously also.
Let me tell you about the location- you will get lots of hotel which are near to the market like Anishka and many other but, please note that those hotels are rated as three star hotel (please dont go by their web site as they promise all false things). at Ambessador if not 5 star you will get a service which is above a 4 star hotel. the hotel interiors are rich neat and clean. You will have to shell out at least 80 Rs to go to the market but it takes only 5 mnts (if u have a car it will not take more than 3 mnts)
FOOD- Suuupppppeeeerb. the bufet breakfast and dinner is simply awsome and delecious to taste the waiters and other staff are very friendly and courteous towards their guest. please dont have lunch at the hotel as during lunch hours you are sure to be out for sight seeing.
ROOM AMBIANCE- hear I have a little problem. please note that the bathrooms are very neat and clean but the rooms are very spacious and little furnitures have been kept. but over all the rooms are very neat and clean and the view from the balcony is simply superb. u can see the river flowing and the snow mountains.
AMENITIES- As per the hotel standard the GYM . but u can enjoy other amenities like Squash, carrom T.Tennis and Billiards, Ayurveda, Spa and sauna. they also have a littie liberary with Bar and a disco. if you come in big groups they will also arrange for a bonfire exclusively for you.
Overall I can say that you will be very satisfied staying in this hotel
The house keeping service and the people sitting at the reception are also very friendly and helpful.
