I purchased a new amd rx480 gpu and when I insert this gpu in my gigabyte h97m motherboard it faults and smoke is coming from the gpu. I afraid by this that I have lost my 29k but it has warrenty and I request Flipkart for new. Finally I received a new gpu but I afraid of putting this gpu again in my cpu. The amd is not good for gpu we have go to for Nvidia gpu they are more powerful and reliable then amd. In future I will never purchase a amd gpu. I will go for a gtx 1060 6gb. It’s good and better than rx480. I hope you understand guys and choose a right decision for your rig on the topic of new gpu.Thanks.
