In todays world DSA are approaching the customers in metro cities for pushing the credit cards. One of the credit card, I was offered by American Express - DSA.
One Day, I received American Express card. My first transaction was for my office making payment in USD. Due to some Accountant Negligence, the payment cheque was returned, so I produced the second cheque. This second cheque was also returned, due to delay by collection person.
Finally, I arranged for the Demand Draft from the bank. By the time payment got cleared, American Express card was permanently cancelled. When I asked to reactivate, I was informed that it will be done after the clearance of payment.
I was asked to fax the letter of request for re-activation of card. But after 30days of followup, the card did not re-activate and no reply was given by the Customer service of the credit card department.
The response on the phone is that card is disabled permanently.

Terms and conditions for cancellation : Not been updated to customer
The attitude of the reps with the American Express is totally not customer centric. They are not at all interested in giving the proper answers and justifications to the customer.
