Amex cards are rejected in 7 out of 10 places. One has to have an alternative credit card when going out shopping. It is a pain to have this card.
They have a high annual fee with no value add to the card. Think twice before you apply for Amex, as most of the time it is rejected without a valid reason and it affects your credit rating.
AMERICAN EXPRESS CARDS ARE THE WORST CARDS TO HAVE. I have a bad experience with them. They ask for 100s of documents to issue the card and by chance if u r issued one, u will be shocked to know that it is not accepted in most of the outlets.
When asked for the reason, the customer says Amex don’t pay us on time and we’ve stopped dealing with them. **Also, they don’t practice what they preach, in other words, they don’t stick to what they promise.
Please stay away from Amex, no matter what the sales guy offers you. All that is bogus and has hidden charges*
On top of it they do not send you alert messages at the time of payment and call you post payment date and harass you. Extremely rude and INCOMPETENT customer service.
Stay away from the FRAUD and save your credit history.
