Disturbingly powerful.

American History X, probably one of the most powerful movies I have ever seen. It delivers a shocking blow through-out the movie while it shows what racism can do to a family and everybody that family comes into contact with.

The acting in this movie was amazing! I do not think that there have been more than 10 other movies that have been able to make me belive in the acting that much. Edward Norton was unbelievable. his passion is the movie is unmatched and undoubtably made this movie what it is.

I would have to say that even though this same basic storyline has been used by many other directors, they did not even scrape the surface of the subject, where as American history X did a brilliant job of it.

The ending of the movie was by far the most important part of it, it along with the entire movie delivered the message that racism hurts.

Up until the time I saw this movie I could proudly say that I had never cried about a movie, but once the credits started to roll on American History X, so did the tears.
