Customers are never priority for americanswan

As the name Americanswan makes an impression as an international brand so is their website, which has models replica of Americans. Totally impressive ambiance once you start purchasing through their website . Packaging too is a good thing to notice which I appreciated and tweeted and got thanked by americanswan. When you feel like trying your new shirt, suddenly you find its not a slim shirt as mentioned in product details, its a regular fit. What option do we have? Compromise!


In the first trial, you see buttons loosing their grip and broken threads . It was just a single button so what option I had? compromise! So packed the shirt neatly in a box to wear it on some day. Then my nightmare started when I started using it . Each of the buttons were loose enough to fall because of its poor stitch with fabric. Plus, their policy to describe regular fit as a slim always made me unhappy whenever I wore it . I wore it for 10 times and till now I have loose total 3 buttons and all others are hanging with thread for any time to drop.


Finally, I thought of approaching the americanswan through twitter, where they have thanked my praise for the packing, in hope to get satisfactory response, but we can understand this is same as one of the Indian company which never believes in customer satisfaction. They feel that once they have sold products by any hook or crook there responsibilities cease . I think such rigid behaviour by few companies like american-swan is bad for Indian e-commerce industry where there is customer comes last for them .


If our Indian eCommerce companies change their look towards consumer satisfaction, they can reach new milestones. But these kind of hiding behind veil when consumers come with dissatisfaction note will not just hurt the reputation of all online portals but the very heart of a consumer too, who has come online to buy for some better experience than he or she could have had at a local lala ji ki dukaan.
