When Prakash Mehra came up with the idea of this movie.. Amitabh was very impressed and immediately asked Prakash Mehra to finish the story script and come back to him.
So soon they met Bappi Lehari(Music Dir.) and Kishore da(Singer) as they already had the hit movie Namak Halal.
