In 1984 he entered politics in support with a family friend rajeev gandhi, he conestedt allahabad’s parliament seat and won. He resigned from politics after 2 years without finishing his term. Amitabh after 1985 had bad and flops came out like how could he work in a movie like jadugaar, toofan, ganga jamuna saraswati, toofan, aaj ka arjun, aakhre rasta were all flops. It was my favorite director Mukul anand who gave amitabh a chance in the movie agneepath, which got amitabh a national award he deserved it’s his best performance from my point of view.
In my opinion Mr. Bachhan has experienced failure and rejection as no other artist has, It is this experience which he does not want to relive again. If he is haggard in movies like BOOM he is equally mind blowing in Baghbaan and Black, energetic and captivating in K3G, B&B etc., Even when we see his earlier movies, we come across movies like Ganga Jamuna Sarasawati, Ganga ki Saugandh, Jadugar etc which are fit to be in the cans for ever.
