I regularly visit Amri Mukundapur for my 1 yr old child. He was admitted there several times. I have very bad experience with the hospital today.
Though they are advertising it as a Child specialty hospital, they do not have good facility to take abbys blood. Their pathology dept could not do it, then they took the baby to Pediatric ward. There, one doctor(RMO) locked the room and tried to take the blood for more than 30mins. He pricked babys hands and legs in several areas but could not find vain. Blood clotted in the pricked areas. But still he was trying, baby was continuously crying for the entire duration. Finally we knocked the door then also he was not releasing the baby, he was saying it is normal, baby will cry.If we would not enter forcefully he would wound the baby in whole body.
Hospital management should take care about this type RMOs capability. Neither he looks like a doctor or behaves like a doctor.
Another bad experience happened last year. That time he was only 8months old, one nurse has given him medicine by washing the cup with Tap water. Immediately on the next day, severe Diarrhea started and it continued for next 1 week(good for hospital, huge bill for us). Baby was almost recovering when this incident happed and our stay extended for another week. You can imagine the pain baby had. We have highlighted the issue but no one bothered about it.
