Where to eat?

Amritsar is famous for food and it’s taste. If you are in the Golden Temple then it’s is interesting to join the pilgrims for a common kitchen food known as "GURU KA LANGAR" and you don’t have to pay for this, it’s free for everyone, other than this there are number of places where you can have Punjab’s delicious food, some of the good places are:


Kesar Da Dhabha: The 70 year old dhabha is the best place to taste and eat the ethnic Amritsari vegetarian pure desi ghee preparations.


Bhrawan Da Dhaba & Brother’s Retaurant: It is nice and cheap place to eat. You can have paranthas, assorted vegetables, rice, daal and Chinese as well as fast food.


Kundan Dhaba: It is close to Railway station and they serve veg. desi ghee food, also thali is available. You can have paranthas, assorted vegetables, daal. The rates are affordable.


Kwality Restaurant: This restaurant is in the corner of Novelty Chowk on the Mall road, here you have mid range veg. & non veg., you can also have South Indian food also.


Bubby Da Dhaba: Dhaba’s are the cheap snack bar’s, here you can have Chaana Bathura( Chick pea’s with Indian bread), Chicken, Pranthas, assorted dal’s and paneer specialties.


Odeon Restaurant: Its is also situated in the Novelty Chowk and is an upper class eating place but a relatively good place to have all types of food.


Crystal Restaurant: This place is reputed place in the town here you can have good continental food at good price, it is among good places to dine.
