Since from my childhood I grew up watching this serial on every sunday 8: 30pm in Gemini TV in Telugu. It started on 18 November 2001. I still feel nostalgic when I watch this serial. It hailed regional TV serials for more than 5 years. The script and program creator Gunnam Gangaraju had a very good hand in screenplay. He before directed movie Little soldiers which is best childhood entertainer till date. In amrutham, he choses a particular emotion from a character and creates comedy from it. The main character is Amrutham and others are anjaneyuli( anji) , Appaji and sarvam and their wives. Amrutham owned a small restaurant and anji is cook with sarvam as server, who is tamilian. Sarvam creates comedy from his telugu-tamil mix slang which is very funny. Appaji is the owner of the house and he is comedy villan in the serial. With his character he is little annoying but very funny character. The creator also takes current topic of the date and creates comedy from it. The opening theme orey anjaneylu is very good. I won’t even miss the theme song.But in these days so many comedy shows uses vulgur language and double meaning dialogues. But, amrutham is a clean family entertainer in those days. Till date, it aired 313 episodes successfully.The whole filming location is in Hyderabad capital city of Andhra Pradesh( 2001) .Beacause of its popularity and all-time favourite comedy serial later it aired in Maa TV, ETV, Zee telugu.The character amrutham did by three actors Sivaji raja, Naresh and Harsha Vardhan did very well top notch performances. Rating 4/5Anjaneylu by Gundu Hanumantha Rao was my favourite caharcter and he is one of the biggest plus for the serial. Rating 5/5Appaji by Sivannarayana did top notch performance.Rating 5/5Sarvam by vasu Inturi did very well in his tamil-telugu slang character.
