The new product from amul stables (or dairy should I say?)
They came door to door sales trying to sell it. Well I dint buy, my mom did, in an attempt to make me like atleast one health drink. Its nice... Tastes more like badam milk ( I tried the kesar almond variant) I can lap up one whole glass of milk this way.
But then I wouldnt rate this as a health drink per say. Atleast not in the league of boost-complan- horlicks thing. It should be more like the everest badam milk things.
And strict advise is that you can have only one cup a day, considering the enormous calories that it contains.
Thankfully it dissolves very well, and does not become a lump of sweet mass deposited at the end of the glass. It also has bits and pieces of almonds and kesar, actually which makes the drinking process funfilled esp for children. ( How we love the occasional badam that props up in our kheer....:) )
A tad little sweet people who dislike sweets could very well do without this drink. And for the people who are on the wrong side of the weight also could avoid. And ofcourse the people who suffer from diabeties, let them not set their eyes on this.
It is available in the chocolate variant too... though I havent tried it. Kesar almond is too good for a health drink. Though I would recommend that u drink it chilled for the best taste. If hot, we could add it to the night milk.
Another good product from amul.
