Amusement parks, they should be called abusement parks !
I get riled up when I think of amusement parks. The amusement parks here, in the U.S. charge you $50.00 and more just to walk in! After you wait on the long lines, sometimes up to an hour just to pay your money and walk in, you realize that you must now pay outragous prices for everything else once you are inside.
You wait on hour long lines to go on the rides that last 2-5 minutes. When you get off the ride and want to get a refreshment, you then again have to wait on long lines to pay outragous prices. A soft drink at the last amusement park I went to was $5.00, for a 12 ounce drink. To grab a burger and fries it was another $9.50!!
If you have a family of two adults and two children, one day at an amusement park will cost you an easy $250.00-$300.00
Also, if you have children, they will most certainly want some momentos of the day. There goes another $20.00 per child.
It’s gotten absolutely outragous. You almost have to ’’rob a bank’’ to be able to afford an outting with you family.
