Anais Anais by Cacharel...This is a lovely perfume, with a sweetness that isn’t nauseating.
The bottle is covered in pink flowers, and the white and chrome look of the packaging gives it the feel of late 70’s or 80’s. It is a bit Jane Seymore-esque, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
I would say that this scent is good for everyday wear, and the perfume lingers throughout most of the day, without over powering you.
Also, although it isn’t at the overly-expensive end of the market, it isn’t cheap either at around 15 - 18 pounds.
The bottle it comes in isn’t too big, but it’ll likely last you about a month.
Of all the choices at the perfume counter this is one of the easiest to tolerate.
Fresh, spring/summer scent.
Okay, so its not hip and fashionable but it is certainly light and fresh with a very pleasant fragrance. Perfumes nowadays seem to fall into 2 categories: they either smell like some very toxic anaesthetic - strong enough to knock you our at a hundred paces, or they smell like toilet freshener, sickly sweet and formulated to disguise unpleasant odours....Well, Anais Anais doesnt fall into either of these categories and is great as an everyday type of perfume.
Im not sure how long it lasts of a day (Ill have to ask somebody to smell me in the afternoon) but I suspect it might not be long-lasting or strong enough for some people.
I personally think if you smell nice you feel good in the way you look.
It also comes as a body lotion, deodrant and bath creme aswell as parfume. An all round winner for a present. Suitable for young and old. Soft and sweet fragrance.
