Hello friends this review is about one of the well known college of SHARDA GROUP OF INSTITUTION i.e. Anand engineering college, agra. I m going to give review because I used to visit this college as my exam cetre used to go here.
This college is situated in farah which is at agra-mathura highway ( nearly 18 km from agra) . Infrastructure of anand college is very good but maximum part of infrastructure is encroched in govt land ( i.e. keetam bird sentuary) . And sealed by govt.
This college is affilieted by gautam budh technical university which is now ABDUL KALAM TECH UNIVERSITY ( AKTU) .
They are offering allmost all technical and professional courses but not having sufficient and elligible lecturers for these courses. Private teachers are teaching here at low salary.
They are showing so many facilities and campus recruitments on their websites and brochers but totally false because so many of my friends have completed graduation from anand college but upto now preparing for gate and ssc banking in delhi.
Biggest thing is their maximum seats of ME, CSE, CE, BIOTECH AND ECE are getting filled by donation quota( by taking commission by college) . Students used to do so many strikes and bunks against management and h.o.d.’s.
Only students follow classes due to attendence boundation( 80% ).
After acedemics management used to take so much extra curricular fees on the name of tech fests and cultural fests. If one is having lower background they cannot survive in this college.
Hostel mace food is too dirty and tasteless.
Overall I want to suggest you people that if you want to take admission in aktu colleges, please never ever never follow the college ranking on websites or brochers. Because this rankings are not on behalf of college reputation, it is on behalf of zones . ( ex- anand college ranking is 01 due to agra zone not due to qualitative college.) Don’t get trapped. Take information by some passout allumni and try to visit college before paying fee.
