My mouth starts watering when I hear this name. Be it sweets or chat……Anand Sweets has the best things lined up in their stall. I have visited to three of their branches in Bangalore – Airport Road, Koramangala, and Commercial Street, and each time I come out saying **“Paet Bhar Gaya….Dil Nahin”!*
When I was working with a company on Airport Road, I was so regular at this place that one day the guy who usually sits at the counter in Airport Road branch recognized me at Forum Mall and turned back to say a “hello”.
There is hardly anything, I have not tasted in this place. The sweets are fresh and yummy. If you have a sweet tooth, then you are missing something if you have not visited Anand Sweets. Again, if you like chaat items very much, then Anand Sweets is a must visit for you.
Be it **Mothichoor Ke Laddoo** or **Gulab Jamoon, Kaaju Katli **or** Anjeer Barfi** or their flagship brand **Baadamika** – everything has the taste of “Anand”. Agreed the price range is a few bucks more than similar places ….but again does that matter when it comes to the taste and freshness.
When it comes to chaat items, do remember to taste **Laccha Tokri**(the best when compared to the same item I have ever eaten in any other place), **Mirchi Pakoda, **and** Paneer Pakoda.*
You can actually go and blindly order anything you see in this place as it is sure to be tasty and worth the money you pay for it. You need not even taste the item(as we usually do at other sweet shops) before you buy something.
The place is usually crowded and the area is very small to accommodate the rush. They close their chaat counters for three to four days during festivals to avoid rush. Despite the heavy crowd, you always find pleasantly smiling people giving you the best service they could.
