The story revolves around an unemployed engineering graduate Ragu (Siddarth), who has job finding travails falls in love, but tries to committ suicide after learning his lover is getting married to a US executive. Then his US travel to have a new beginning, but as fate have it, his ex-lover returns to his life and how he struggles to achieve his peace forms the rest of the movie.
The first half an hour of the movie is quite interesting and Tamanna in the role of Madhumita exudes all the naivete, innocence required for the role.
The movie falls flat the rest of the way as Ragu cannot seem to shake off his old flame whom he meets again in NY.
Siddharths performance does not sound natural that much, seems like words were being forced out of him. Couple of songs do stand out (Kala Kangiren and Poovinai Thira)
Crackpots:
It is quite illogical to think that a husband would allow his wifes (Madhumita) ex-flame (Ragu) to go out with him in NewYork. Also when the audience thinks that Ragu has finally turned the corner as he is getting engaged to a new girl in his life, the story takes a disastrous turn with the entry of Madhumita asking Ragu to be with her.
