Anandabazar Patrika, the name is enough for Bengalee household. The newspaper once reaches the balcony of the house, the name glitters and attracts the eyes of readers.
The newspaper has always been beloved by Bengalees and others capable of reading Bengali scripts. The easy and simple language, comprehensible explanations, transparent perception and description of things have always been a reason of dearness to so many people over years.
The journalists are quite warm. I happened to go this media house several times for work purpose. Always I got amazed at the way they maintained security and privacy. The people are quite gentle and prudish.This media house is associated with publishing other daily newspapers and a bunch of magazines issued fortnight.
Once I entered the media house for publishing a news as a press release of the organization(Abacus Peripherals Pvt Ltd) I was then working for, I interacted with a journalist. he seemed incapable of fathoming out the actual motto and perception of the news. he did not procrastinate to call in another journalist slightly younger than him and asked her to listen to me so as to make the free of cost release without a delay.
In terms of recruitment I do not have clear ides but I believe nepotism and favouritism of course exists as the same is prevalent almost everywhere in West Bengal.
