BEWARE OF Ananya Learning Centre(asap.org.in), Kondapur
We have joined our 3.5 year old son for Speech, Behavioral and Occupational Therapies. This WAS the only centre available in Kondapur when we wanted to take our son for therapies and there were NO REVIEWS available anywhere online. We want to help other parents from falling into this trap. Forget about helping your kid, it can actually harm them.
Here is a brief:
Super expensive by any standards: Charges 22, 000/- for a 1.5 hrs therapy every day from Mon-Fri. They only care about money and say that these kids would never be normal and they think we should keep sending our kids for the rest of their lives! BTW, do you know they are a “non-profit organization” and support poor parents by making them poorer!
No 1:1 attention for kids, there are 2 therapists and 5-6 kids(all the time)
Don’t allow parents in the therapies - you can never know what’s happening with your kid. These sessions are supposed to teach both parents and kids, else they are useless
Don’t take proper care of kids: Packed kids s**t in a plastic cover and kept in his school bag alongside his tiffin boxes! Who does that?
THIS IS IMPORTANT - Traps you in unwanted medical procedures and gets blood tests for your kids and suggests nutritional supplements that are manufactured in their affiliate labs. Be very careful with these as they are not available in market and only available in their affiliate labs. Blood collection and everything happens in Ananya itself. They don’t even tell what’s included in the medication, and you shouldn’t question them is their logic.
Suggests unwanted expensive alternate therapies(iLS) without proper assessment of the kid.
They just recommend such things based on parents anxiety and financial condition, but don’t really bother whether the therapy would be effective for the kid.
Don’t support parents in anyway: Talks sweet till you pay money and once they get their money, don’t really give a damn to answer your questions. The moment you start questioning, you will become a PROBLEMATIC parent!
Forget about any refunds what-so-ever, even for unstarted therapies.
Don’t even provide PROPER receipts for the fees paid that is acceptable for tax/insurance purposes. This is LEGAL VIOLATION, but they just don’t care!
?There are other alternatives that are coming up in these areas, please do good research before proceeding. Talk to good doctors like Padma Palvai in Rainbow before even approaching these people.
