I am myself a senior interventional cardiologist in a major hospital in hyderabad. I went to Ananya through my colleague .
After paying RS 6000 , they assessed in one hour . I didn’t question their technique initially even though it was very superficial .
They just mailed the report like a bomb and without any discussion, ask to pay 35000 to start therapy from next day .
Their was no discussion about the report , treatment plan and prognosis. There was no update after sessions of therapy . After a couple of classes , we we questioned the owner ( Madhavi) , she became agitated .
I got suspicious and decided to get the report verified at 3 different centres . The assessment was very detailed and prolonged at all the other centres and to my surprise the reports were very different .
When I questioned Ms Madhavi regarding the lack of communication , she gave vague answers and refused to refund any amount ( even though my son has attended only 2 sessions out of 12-13 / month).
I still remember her saying “ I have a business to run”.
If this can happen to doctor , I can imagine about others .
Me and my wife were traumatised for a week .
We got our son to a new centre ( Insync) , which is a gem of a centre.
Even though they are costlier, you won’t mind paying it .
I made the mistake of blindly believing in Ananya because I thought they wouldn’t dare to do this to a doctor especially when he have been referred by a common friend .
My opinion : please get their report verified in other centres before blindly paying money and starting therapy . Any business which does good to others is good business . But when the owner runs it without any empathy , you should stay away from it.
