The social messages in some places are very subtle and quite evident otherwise.
The story may not be an Oscar winning one but it does provide a certain amount of richness that is otherwise lacking in most Tamil movies.
The final scene does warm the heart. The audience virtually identifies itself with the role played by Kamal. The make up, the acting, etc. are so natural for Kamal. Kamal really does Kamaal on screen. The way in which he has potrayed the character is amazing and one can expect nothing less from India’s most versatile actor
For Kamal fans, this movie is a must see, even if they don’t understand Tamil. Way to go Kamal!
