Bad service at help desk

I had an account with this bank when I was studying my graduation. After some years(5), I went to bank for atm card issue which was disabled. Then I asked help desk for how can I activate it, he said write a letter to bank manager about activation of account again. he answered it like if he is the manager. Then he asked me to pay Rs. 150 for activation of account. Required documents for activation of account are submitted and 150 rs challan also paid. Then asked for passbook, I said its damaged.


I gave it to him then he said we cant process your application as its not clear. I requested branch manager for my account activation. The same situation had happened in other PSU bank but they didn’t ask either passbook or service charge.


I decided to close the account. For that also, they needed the passbook.


I never recommend for this bank where if you have the situation similar kind like scholarship account then forget about this bank. TRY some other bank instead.
