I completed Animal Farm by George Orwell just now and am delighted by the way the author compares animals to human beings.
The similarities pointed out by the author are strikingly true and really move your heart.
This book starts pretty slow but then picks up speed after a few chapters, so all I would say is that hang on to the few boring pages and witness the true wonder of the book.
The characters in this book are -of course- animals, some of whom are dumb while the others are clever-or maybe cunning would be a better word.
It deals with politics and also with the ways in which someone can fall ( morally) for their own selfishness! People break their own rules and laws to achieve whatever they want and in the process, dont care if they hurt others.
These sad things are portrayed dramatically in Animal Farm and in a way that wakes you inner self up.
So its not a wrong decision if you have chosen to read this book and do not think that an old classic doesnt deserve to be read in these so-called modern times.
My Regards.
