When u listen to the album of ankahee the songs seem to be going straight.to yr heart.A lot of stuff has been made in bollywood abt extra marital affair, love triangle.husband cheating on wife etc.ankahee through its posters and publicity images appeared very different from what it really turned out to be
first of all no matter how hard she tries esha deol can never appear to be miss world
secondly, though his looks have considerably improved in this film but aftab shivdasani has never been a hero stuff.the casting is absolutely wrong.
akhshay kumar n karina kapoor in the main lead would have worked wonders on the screen.
the story is a blend of ARTH [shabana azmi, smita patil] PHIR TERI KAHANI YAAD AYEE[ pooja bhatt, rahul rai] PIYAAR TU NE KIYA KIYA[urmila, fardeen khan]
but this is virtually a degenerated form of all these 3 movies.the songs are the only saving grace of the film.moreover it is more like washing ones dirty linen in public as the story reminds you mahesh bhatt, s affair with parveen babi, who to was a psycho patient.
Or may be vikram bhatt has provided us with a justification of his relations with sushmita sain
overall the movie is a hopeless product packed in an excellent casing.the ending is not at all satisfactory n one keeps thinking that somethimng is a miss all through the film
