Well, let me begin by saying that my opinion of the Anne Geddes.com site is quite a bit different than that of Rosie’s.
( =) But, we each have our own opinion )
True, you are greeted by a black page, which loads very fast and has one of Anne Geddes beautiful baby photos on it and a place to click to enter.
Once you enter the site, after clicking enter, you are shown a menu of the contents of the site.
True, there were only 7 greeting card selections, but there was a lot more to see.
You can go into the Anne geddes photo gallery, where you can take a look at some of her beautiful photos of babies. Some dressed as bumble bees, some asleep in the petals of flowers, some teeny tiny babies being held in someones hand. Each photo more beautiful and adorable than the next.
You can also check out the biography of Anne Geddes. She is an Australian photographer, who only photographs babies.
Next, you can enter the E-card site. Which was really a bit disappointing with only 7 cards to choose from.(Just as Rosie said!) But each card is adorned with a beautiful Anne Geddes photo.
There is also a site within a site (Actually coming soon, not up yet) called Nursery.com where you will be able to purchase baby clothing, from the Anne Geddes line.
She also has another area where you can purchase one (or all) of her 12 photography books. Or her selections of calendars or postcards.
There is a gift section where you can buy gifts like, stuffed animals
stationery
photo storage boxes
stickers, etc.
You can also download one of 72 different Anne Geddes screensavers, featuring some of her most beautiful photos.
There is also the sections Rosie mentioned, The children’s help directories and trust fund.
It is not a site for E-cards. But it is a site promoting the beautiful photography of Anne Geddes.
While the site may not be for everyone, the photos are beautiful, heartwarming and adorable.
Check it out if only to see her beautiful photography.
