I saw this movie when I was very young, and I still love it to this day. This probably has to do with the amazing cast that Annie has. The cast includes Carol Burnett, Tim Curry, Bernadette Peters, Albert Finney, Edward Hermann, and Ann Reinking. In case you are unfamiliar with this movie, it’s about an orphan named Annie who gets picked to spend a week with Oliver Warbucks, an overbearing billionaire. Of course, this is a very big change from her dreary life at the orphanage. The songs in this movie musical are catchy, and not too over the top. I find that they enhance the feelings in this movie. Aileen Quinn plays a great Annie, mixed with just the right amount of spunk and sweetness. If you have never seen this movie, I suggest that you do right away. Although it is a considered a family film, anyone will enjoy it, because it’s not as sappy as some of the other ’’family’’ films out there.
