Needs way more work!!

The play has quite a bit of potential though it certainly hasn’t lived up to it in its current version. The play doesn’t suffer because of three people but it does suffer due to shallowness as characters need more depth the fewer there are. There is some half-hearted character building for the "Annoyer" in bits and pieces during the middle of the play.

The Annoyer carries the play but he isn’t annoying enough! You would certainly expect the most annoying person in the world to do more than just insinuate that some one is gay or some one is a nymphomaniac. We do that every day at office!

The therapists are quite annoying themselves especially Anita(?) Modi whose entrance had me confused as to whether she was the annoyer as the programme seemed to say that the patient was male.

The annoyer needs to be more annoying. killing cats and arson is more a symptom of pschosis than an annoying personality and the therapists need to have more character building to make the audience identify with them. For a comedy, its pace is very slow and could be tighter, there are no ROFLMAO lines or even too many minor rib-ticklers. If we were expected to make merry because of the situation the therapists find themselves in, we don’t as we don’t identify with them at all, annoying as they are.

Overall with a lot more work, this play could be quite good. Not great but good.
