When I first came in touch with this company, I had never heard of it really . No Banners, advertisements, Ads nothing .Just a good website which said that it delivers value packages at cheaper rates than most.I knew its started by few people from IIT-Delhi and thought that it must be a good company.Then I got in touch with a person( via some online community) which spoke highly about the company and its service.
A group of us, 4 Office Mates booked a Bali tour. 2 of them were not sure abt Antilog so they arranged from other travel agent(Travelocity) .The package cost was higher for them but they were mentally convinced about the reputation of their travel agent.We booked the packages for same dates and similar category hotels.
Now, 7 days before the departure, 2 had to cancel the package owing to some grave issues in their project.One had booked from Antilog & other through some online portal( Travelocity).While Antilog refunded the entire money after deducting normal cancellation charges, the other friend is still awaiting for the refund.The money came, though after umpteenth calls were made but much lesser than 70% of promised.The Travelocity cheated my friend, full and square.
Moving back to 2 of us in Bali . The other friend had the worst room booked just in front of Kitchen and with AC not working.He called up his agent, nothing happened.Then he had to Pay 100 USD extra to change the room category. Everything was well in our case.
Now I don’t know whether Antilog is good or Travelocity is Bad . All I know is that Antilog gave us good rates and services as promised.Nothing more, Nothing Less.Travelocity cheated full, left right and centre and you cant do anything because they have big money to delude people into their selling ways
After having travelled through Antilog, I am a part of their online community and most people swear by their services . They are the fastest growing travel company in India for a reason, and the reason is services not publicity and commercials
