Asked for a Demo from this company . . on 9 Jul 15. . . query number is 07381425. . technician promised that he will come on 10 Jul 15 . at 7 pm . .I came early from office . I received a call exactly at 7 pm( not before) saying . .he cannot come . . and will come on Sunday . 9 am . . I had no option to say NO. . now waiting started on Sunday . . at 10.45 am . . he calls me and says . . shall I come now? I say NO .as I was not in my house . . and was not interested in Demo . .
(un) Fortunately . . .I bought Puritee+ hot on 18 Jul 15. from Shringar electricals . . jayanagar 4 block . . gave a call for installation . . 07400207 . . promptly the installer comes as promised on 18 jul 15 . . says water pressure is less than 7 PSI . I ask me what to do . . two options are as follows
a) Customer to buy a pump . .there is no guarantee or warrantee . .and the automatic unit will become completely manual . as customer need to switch of the pump and the purifier
b) Give back the purifier and get the money back - OMG
Call up the Regional service head for South and East . . he also says the samething . . and now has promised me to wait for 2 moths . . where AO Smith is developing the Pump . . I ask him to give me the number of MD . .so that I can explain this situation to him / her . .he says cannot give I write a mail to UK Office . .they promptly forward to India office . . saying this has to be dealt with them . .
as a small customer I have the following question . .
a) Why does the Demo person do not come to us as promised!
b) Your catalogue(which I still have with me) does not mention about 7 PSI pressure!
c) How can AO Smith has innovation technology to develop a Rs. 24, 000 purifier but cannot develop Rs. 1000 pump! this is surprising
d) Why should the customer wait for 2 months to install your purifier . . with guarantee and warrantee
What should I do with the purifier . .now . .the box of 2 feet length x 2 feet width x 3 feet height . . is just gazing at me every time I pass by . . This product is not suitable for individual houses . . and only suitable for apartments I suppose . . you all will experience the same difficulty . .please check before you buy this . . .
I have checked with many competent, experienced . . people of AO Smith . . including Product development team . . they have removed all my service requests . . and closed the call! Kudos and hats off to you Sir!
