All people be warned that ao SMITH sells their geyser with free installation included but they are charging customers Rs 300 extra for connection PIPES to water outlet which cost only Rs100 at hardware shop. The customer care man will tell u that they install special pipes with ao SMITH branding but it is all lies. They are a fraudulent co. Indulging in conning customers by promising free installation. Installation cost is anyway Rs 150 market rate, so by selling connection PIPES AT thrice the rate they are not giving anything free.
It’s an American co and Americans are money minded misers and never give anything free. Even in USA no one wants to buy American goods because they are all third grade trashy stuff, customers there prefer Japanese and German products for quality and service.
Technically the ao SMITH geyser is useless as it takes one and half hour for 25 litre water to get To 50 degree heat. Who has so much time to wait, Indian make geysers give hot water in 30 mins.And please dont believe in seven year tank warranty, they have not even given one tank replacement till date. It is a totally pathetic product and company indulging in Corrupt practices.
