AOL instant messenger is a very good secure system. If you have a friend on AOL they can email you a free service that allows you to chat with friends online. It is safer then chat rooms because you only talk to people you know. The way it works is like a chat room what you do is you find out the one’s you want to talk screen name. So if I wanted to talk to Mr Bloggs I would have to know his screen name. So lets say his screen name was bloggs@aol.com then you would go on the option for AOL instant messenger type bloggs in the who are you sending this to box then type your message. It appears on your mate’s screen and he can type a reply and you can chat like this for ages. Also if someone you do not know is instant messaging you can ignore them by clicking another button. It is very easy and free. It downloads quite quick and it is really good. I recommend this to anyone who wants to chat for free.
