This is a little off subject, but I already have a review on AOL isp, and I just had to tell you all about 7.0
Well, I downloaded AOL 7.0 today. Even with my 56K connection it took a whopping 5 hours to download and install!
You want to know what I got? NOTHING ! That’s right almost nothing changed!
I do find it a bit slower than 6.0 though.
The only differences that I can determine is that there is now access to 75 music stations(which I can’t locate), and I already have through another web site anyway. You can also have your choice of 195 different icons to use when you IM someone.(As opossed to the 75 or so you had before.) One other difference, is that on your welcome page, you now get local information like, weather, local news, movies and restaurants.
It does also offer high speed, broadband internet access now too....For only an additional $31.95 per month, in addition to my (already high) $23.90 per month general AOL access fee. Are they nuts?
Well, that’s it! I can’t find anything new and different about AOL 7.0.
If any of you out there find more, please let me know!
Would I recommend downloading 7.0? NOPE!
