I have bought an APC inverter more than a month back. And I am happy about the overall performance of the product.
I took a lot of inputs from different source on what should be the configuration, brand etc etc for my requirement.
One of the inputs were to get tubular batteries ( which are expensive), One was to get higher power batteries.
Some inputs which I got from the dealer were, that the batteries in the Intervetor are thick plated and tubular is not required for my set up of 4 fans, 2 tube lights and one TV.
Another input given to me was that higher the batter KVA the more the times it takes to charge up the battery, so if the power goes off 2 -3 times a day its preferable to go by 700-800 KVA batteries.
Since I had been using an APC UPS for the last 5 years which has not give n me any problem till date I preferred to go by APC rather than any other brand.
Also APC provides a cabinet which can be place in the lobby without looking distastefull.
When the power goes out the invertors is take up without a lag and beeps to tell that power has gone. But sometimes when the power comes back up there is slight lag in the or a interval when the power is not continuus.
Overall its working well.
