Ajay come's full circle..!!

Hi all,

A long waited review for me this time as I was so desperate to write on this. I watched it two days back and obviously was thrilled. Ajay Devgan, Nana Patekar, Prakash Jha and if you are not happy yet .......then have Yashpal sharma as well. Prakash Jha I feel is the only guy currently in industry who can handle these subjects very well.

I will not go to the story lines as some of my fellow writers has already done that. I will pick the actor’s performance. Take Nana Patekar shown as a MLA from a minority community who knows very well how to hit the softest part of the people so that he can be what he is. He has even sacrificed his nephew’s for the so called sacred cause of his community. Nana has portrayed his part a bit above the expectation. One can predict the scene’s even, So there I will say Nana has gone wrong.

Ajay Devgan .... a veteran now I can say... a man full of potential. Ajay Shastri is the name in movie .... son of a social worker...who was always made to run for his bread and butter because his father was too idealistic. Before going into the Dark world Ajay never complained his father of his misery but for once and ever he did settled the score. Nothing so bad like killing of his family etc happened with Ajay but yes his self-esteem was challenged by others and thus he chosen the path to revenge himself. He was taken for granted by the biggies in kidnapping business, he was tortured hard by them and he learned the tricks in that way only. All in all I must say that this guy has done total justice to his role.

Yashpal Sharma played the role of Gaya Singh(the Kidnapping hot shot who works for Nana). Yashpal acts like he was into this only before coming to Mumbai for acting..... so normal...so real and thus so effective. All Claps for him. The way he beat Ajay initially and the way he pray’s for his life is so contrasting.Good job done by him.

Prakash Jha yet again came with a gem ’’Apaharan’’. Direction is done well but Dialogues lack somewhere....like the Bipasha Basu n her hubby’s dialogues ’’Aap humare liye bhagwaan ho’’ ohh come on !!!! Some scene’s lack perfection ...the one in which Ajay kidnap some tax officer for the first time.

I don’t know what others have to say about this movie or whether the makers want to convey this from the movie. It reflects a long, deeply rooted, bad trend of our society. Parents expect too much out of kids plus do not want them to go their own way......!! In the end kids do turn to profession’s like this and I personally feel that society is to be blamed for this. Same happened with Ajay shastri.....what he got from his parents ...a surname ..nothing else.....and when he turned the negative way his father was in mayhem......why was he.. I mean he could have been for his son in some places and life would have been so easy. Sorry guys this is just a movie so do watch and enjoy and yes look out for the shirts which Ajay wore in the movie...they are something I called Awesome.

Regards
