My wife was under her Treatment( Dr. Pallavi Chplunkar-Gynic) prior to pregnancy. This pregnancy was after 10 yr s of marriage .So, needless to say the importance of this . Dr. forgot to give, prescribe any type of vaccination up to 3 -4 month of pregnancy. She forgot to check either weight or BP .She did not have enough time(interest) to check -up the patient, physically.She hardly checked up by touch.She always suggest s the medicine like other normal physician.
She went on leaves( long) without any information or suggesting another doctor. When we visited the Apollo Clinic( Kundanhalli Gate)then got the shock from clinic staff that she is on leave and they does not have any idea by when she will be back.She did not informed neither to hospital nor to patients . We tried to contact her but she did not picked it up .
We were just lost; whom to approach now? Doctor left us at this crucial stage without any information or suggesting back up doctor .
My concerned is:- She should have been informed to the patient and referred another doctor in her absence( profession ethics and antiquate) . Which she did not do. She did not bother about patient for whom she is next to God( as Doctor) It was her moral responsibility to inform and make assure about her back up doctor. She left her patients Hanging in between. Pls decide your self about this irresponsible and unprofessional behavior.
Oh Yes, When we approached to Forties Hospital near by in search of another Doctor then came to know that she joined that hospital.
