Its rare to revisit a piece of tech one year later and find its still the best of the bunch. Thats the case with the iPad Air 2, a product that somehow seems better now than it did in when it was first released in late 2014.
I used to think the Air 2 was big - then I used the iPad Pro, and now the Air 2 seems like a perfectly portable size. Its software has gotten better, too. Thanks to iOS 9, its always-powerful processor now gets to handle split-screen apps, and it does it wonderfully. It makes the iPad a better tablet.
And heres the best part: the Air 2 is less expensive now. It can be found on sale frequently, and if you can get the 64GB version at a great price, I would.(Skip the entry-level 16GB model.) Apples official price for the Air 2 128GB Wi-Fi models. Its extra for a cellular 4G LTE antenna, but we wouldnt recommend that unless someone else is footing the bill.
But again, check for sale prices. A recent(since expired) Staples sale saw the 64GB model effectively giving you quadruple of the storage of the baseline model for free. Thats exactly the sort of deal wed jump on in a New York minute.
