There is nothing new about it.
iPhone 7 does not have dual camera, only iPhone 7 plus has it. Even with the new camera on iPhone 7 plus, it is still worse than similar price range phones of other brands. Someone mentioned 3d mapping with dual cameras will be the future, well it is not since iPhone camera setup does not support such a thing.
