IPod Mini
Its been very long I thought of buying the Ipod mini, way in 2003 when I was in US, I wanted to purchase this mini. But then I had to wait for 6 months to get the mini. So I left that time. Then this Year in April 2005 in UK I got my own IPOD Mini. But still I waited for 3 weeks to get my Ipod. The Color of my IPOD is Silver.
My Ipod is 4 GB, I got the USB Cable and the AC Adapter with it. Also I have used the Griffin Itrip FM Transmitter with my IPOD mini to transfer my songs to FM in my Car Radio.
Build Quality & Performance
The moment every one sees the Ipod they will start liking it by the appearance of it. Its so sleek, slim and beautiful. And the white backlight makes the ipod look brighter. You can adjust the contrast of the ipod. Also you can set the time for the backlight display. The click wheel in the ipod is the highlight of all, its so sharp and very accurate in its response. It Performs very well. I have the latest 4 GB Ipod with 18hrs battery time. Battery is too good, to the extent I will forget when did I charge for the last time. I also heard from my friends that the older ipod’s also give around 8 hrs of battery life. When compared much of the mp3 players Ipod stands as the best because of its build, sound quality and its battery life. But nowadays many of the new mp3 players also coming up with such good models.
Sound Quality
This is the reason why everyone goes to Ipod, this is a must have for all the digital music lovers. You have 20 preset equalizer options in the Ipod. But I would have suggested a Custom preset in the Ipod would have been great. My Ipod is from UK, so it will have EU sound limit, But there are lot of good softwares to remove the EU Sound limit. The headset which comes with the ipod is basic and good. But if you get the ipod remote control headset its very good. You can handle the ipod using the remote control with it.
ITunes with IPod
This is one of the software which you use frequently with the ipod, this we can use to transfer the songs to ipod. The best thing about the ITunes is that we can convert the songs as well as we can group the Songs, by editing its IDV3 tags. This is very useful when we try to access the songs from Ipod, we can access by the groups of Artists, Albums, Songs, Genres, Composers. Now the latest softwares of the Ipod also gives you the option of Podcast

Also as you do with itunes you can create Playlist and add your songs u need in the playlist. So that will give you another option for you to listen to the collections you want anytime with just a click away.
Extra features
Ipod supports many extras with it like Clock, Calendar, Contacts, Notes and Games. Of which for transferring contacts u need to transfer as a vCard file (*.vcf) so that the ipod will read it. Any text documents can be transferred, it can only be viewed not edited. Then Ipod mini has builtin 4 games in it (Brick, Music Quiz, parachute and Solitaire). Calendar also has a feature of To Do items. It also supports Alarm clock. But the alarm tone is just limited to the default beep tone and not with any of the music’s we have transferred.
Conclusion
The best mp3 player I have ever used. Many of my friends after listening to my IPod they have purchased the Ipod immediately. Its because you can even hear every piece of tune of the music you have transferred. You will definitely like the
