Apple was always a brand of innovation and class.but it took them iPod to show it to the world.
I had heard a lot about iPod, until I saw it with my friend one day and after that it really didnt take long for me to fall in love with it.first thing I notice was the quality of voice and sound effects which no other player can match up with, secondly the clarity of video and then most important thing of it all the new - click wheel - it was again first from Apple.
I brought a 30 GB Video iPod from Singapore.initially I was a little skeptical about buying it because of its price tag.but then I couldnt convince myself to buy any other cheaper mp3 players.i went for iPod video 30 GB.it is more than enough to store movies, videos, photos, contacts and loads and loads of songs.the tv out option is very useful and I always watch movies and photos on my TV instead of pod screen and all you need for that is a standard Camcorder AV cable(RCA cable) and a bit of googling;-).then there is always ipod cassette or transmitter cable to connect your iPod to car stereo.i even connect my iPod to my computer external speakers.i carry all my contact information in iPod.there is even a portable version on thunderbird and firefox if you like to carry your mail and browser whereever you go.and yes there is something to play as well.the iPod games are simply yet amazing, so its a mini video game as well.
Some of the downside of iPod is that it lacks a inbuilt FM player(i know we need to buy radio remote for that:-(), lack of travel/car charger(again you can buy it seperately) and lack of support for many video formats(need to convert movies to mp4 or mov).
ofcourse its a great travel mate now and I cant drive without my iPod.it is even a great companion when you have to spend time alone.great buy for the money.
