I got my first iPod Video (30 GB) on saturday. Though the packing was not very impressive, but I was more concerned about iPod. After opening the pack I found a really cool looking Black iPod. It is slim than previous iPods.
After installing iTunes, I downloaded my favourite songs into the iPod. The sound quality was really excellent. It is very easy to use. The videos that I played on it were really very cool. iPod has many features like contacts, calander, notes, 20 graphic equalizers, photo slideshows, games, audiobook supports with speed setting, etc.
Apple says that it can play music for 14 hours (without any equalizer & backlight on). The fact is that the screen backlight cunsumes a lot of power. Thats why it can play video for 2 hours only. I have not played music or videos on my iPod continously for such time. I was also very disappointed to see that there is no AC wall adapter supplied with it. But you can buy it seperately. I am charging it with the usb cable provided with it using my pc.
I really love this black beauty. Really guys you have try it to believe me. OWN IT. You wont be disappointed.
