I received the iPod Shuffle as a Christmas gift and now I cant imagine life without it. Before Id go to the gym and listen to music through my radio or CD player. Or just watch the TVs they have installed in the gym. Now I take my iPod with me everywhere. I do cardio with it, play basketball with it, lift weights with it; I literally take it everywhere I go. I wouldn’t trade the iPod Shuffle for the larger one. The iPod Shuffle has a superb battery life, holds a ton of music for its size, and best of all its small and light weight. I really dont need more features. I wouldn’t describe myself as one of those people thats wants the latest and greatest with all the bells and whistles because more often than not you wont use them. For example, one of the larger iPod holds 2 GB of music which equals about 500 songs. Who listens to that much music? The Shuffle I have is 512 MB flash memory, holds up to 120 songs, and its only 1 ounce. I dont know about you, but 120 songs is plenty. Its the same case I make with cell phones I dont want a huge PDA size cell phone that has video clips, internet, ringtones, ect. I just want a tiny cell phone, with great reception, and long battery life... period. The one drawback of the iPod Shuffle which paradoxically is what I like most about it is that it lacks features. Its hard to navigate through the 120 of uploaded songs in your iPod. That can be a bit frustrating at times. Also, I wish the iPod Shuffle would allow you to delete songs you dont want directly on the iPod Shuffle. The iPod Shuffle is a great product and great value I’d recommend this tiny yet powerful piece of technology to anyone.
