First, I was a little sceptic to purchase a MacBook, hugely because of my reliance on Windows for a major part of my life, also they were expensive. This laptop is competitively priced and comes within7 a slim form factor, which made an immediate appeal. And about the memory onboard( 128GB) its okay, I don’t complain about the memory, as most of my content is on the cloud, I just need to sync it periodically to make available on my devices.
The transition from Windows to Mac OS wasn’t bad as I expected. It took me few hours to figure out basic operations. It is just fantastic notebook from Apple. No words to say about this laptop.
Pros:
Build quality is the best in the segment.
Lightweight and compact.
Keyboard ergonomics are awesome.
The trackpad is tactile and gestures are actually real time.
The sound is loud and clear.
The interface is slightly different, can easily get used to it.
The screen is not sharp, not the best. But the colour reproduction and brightness are good enough to make you forget the pixel density.
Not for gamers and heavy video editors.
Performance is really great for midrange productivity users.
Cons:
Memory management is painful.
Data exchange is nearly impossible.
Ports are less, difficult to buy good quality adapters at reasonable prices.
