Blackbug screen, logic board issue, expensive parts

I use an apple MacBook Pro late 2011 model purchased in May 2012. The warranty of the product got over by may 2013. From August 2013, the system started showing a problem which is commonly known as black screen bug wherein the screen randomly blink to black for a brief time or go to sleep and require a button be pressed for the system to wake again. This happens randomly while working on the system.

I reported this first to apple in the month of October 2013 and over telephone they did some troubleshooting steps(PRAM reset).etc and fixed the issue temporarily. For some time there was no issue and again the same thing happened and I used to follow the same step for temporary fixing. From july 2014 onwards the problem became very severe and I gave the laptop for service at apple authorized service center(ample technologies) on 8th August 2014 which they came back informing that system is checked and no issue found. Again when the system faced the issue I gave it back to ample technologies and they found that the logic board of the system is creating this black bug issue and the solution is to replace logic board for which they quoted 54000 INR. This logic board issue of Apple is a recurring problem with Apple MacBook products and can found over the internet about this issue as well recall by apple to replace many series of logic boards of 2010, 2012, 2013 laptops. It’s clear that the hardware issue is a manufacturing defect and quiet common globally. But after talking with Apple India they are not ready to accept it as a manufacturing defect and are asking the payment of 54000 INR for this repair.

Kindly advice on customer rights in such cases were it’s proven that Apple has a problem with its logic board. There is no point in buying such premium laptops if it can go off in 1.5 - 2 years time that to of no fault of yours.
