Apple Maps is considered to be the best navigation app in the world and even better than google maps but the story is different in its working in India. Explaining in short, Apple doesn’t have any navigation data about routes in India and doesn’t have right or access to them either. Now for the richest company in the world it might seem a little odd at first to make their app a useless platform in the 2nd largest country in the world in terms of population. Now for real Apple could have bought the rights for navigation and went on with it in India for a negligible amount of money but it only comes as a shock that India comes under the low priority list for Apple when compared to other countries as probably India doesn’t have as many Iphone users as other countries. Now that’s very arrogant of a brand that supposedly want to outcast google at their own game as Google Maps finds its relevancy to be very high in India. Almost everyone and even Apple users use only Google Maps to get to any address without any hassle while Apple Maps doesn’t even allow you to navigate between any two places. It is as useless in India as it gets.
