In august 2009 my car met with a small accident. Since I was staying in gurgaon and Apra auto was nearby so I thought to go to them.
The car problem was fixed within time and budget but I had few problems which I would like to share.
I confirmed with them before going to pick the vehicle and they said it is ready for delivery. At the time of delivery:
The indicator which was broken and replaced was not working. Quite annoying since this was the first thing they should have checked. Took 10 minutes to get it fixed.
The number plate was broken. Took me quite some time to convince them that this was not already broken. At last they replaced it without cost. Took me 15 minutes. Later I realized that the letters are uneven in size on number plate.
The car back seat was all greasy seems they worked from inside and forgot to clean up the mess. Thank god the seats are leatherite so cleaning was not much hassle.
Recently found that car wind shield sprinkler is not working. Got it checked and I was told that pipe was missing. Seems that when changing the wind shield they took out the pipe and forgot to put it back.
Fresh scratches were there on the left side on the door. When pointed out they showed me the job card which has a small car layout where they mark if there is any scratch already. There were scratches marked on job sheet so there was nothing I could do. Later found out they put the scratch marks everywhere on the job card car layout just to make sure they have the proof that the scratches were already there.
I would say they are just short of local mechanics on road side. Quite an irony that so near to Maruti factory such a sorry piece of service station exist.
