Aquaman Story: It is the story of a boy Arthur Curry, whose mother was the Queen of Atlantis, which is an underwater city and his father is a light house keeper, making him the only one who can unite the worlds of the land and see. Initially Arthur does not want to do anything about his royal heritage since his mother lef him and his father and returned to the underwater world. But when he gets to know from Princess Mera that there is a significant threat from the deep seas by the people of Atlantis, he has to choose sides.
The great part about the movie Aquaman is the portrayal of woman in a positive light. The women characters are not just shown as love interests showing off their bodies, but as cleaver ladies who make their own decisions. Infarct Mera fights shoulder to shoulder with Aquaman and is focused and disciplined and plays a major role in steering the lazy and carefree Arthur in the right direction.
The visuals of Aquaman are breath-taking and make Atlantis look like a true paradise. However, in some parts the film does seem a bit over stretched and can be cut short. There are also several puns that are not funny and are a total bore.
But Overall, Aquaman is a film that you must watch for the beautifully directed engaging story and the aesthetic visuals.
