SL Complex used to be one of the dirtiest theatre complexes in Trivandrum until a couple years back. There were 3 theatres in the complex that always used to smell like urinals and was most likely infested with giant black rats. I used to hate going there. Right now, It is a fairly good multiplex. There are 6 screens now. Audi 1 is arguably the best cinematic experience. Probably the best in India. Outrageously Humungous Screen, mind blowing 64 channel Dolby atmos audio system providing a drop dead gorgeous qualityand an epic dual 4K projection! Also the seats are really comfortable. Went to see “Bahubali – The beginning” there. Still recall the Goosebumps I got from watching the movie there. Without a doubt the best place to watch Hollywood movies
Heck, it’d be my first choice for any movie.
Cons:
Parking and taking you four wheeler out after the movie is a painful task.
Crammed 6 screens in place of the 3.Apart from Audi1, the others basically have ZERO sound insulation, so can pretty much hear and feel tremors of what’s playing on in the other screens.
The Staff aren’t the friendliest people around. I felt that some were out right rude. Nearly got into an argument with the parking lot attendant.
Tickets and food are absurdly over priced
