This is a good facility and anyone could be swayed with the five star facility and spotlessly clean set-up. lndeed was still a new facility when I saw it with my aunt admitted there for knee joint replacement.
You need to be extra alert every second and have someone there with a sixth sense to spot danger to the patient especially when the patient is being moved out of the operating theater.
The nurses do not understand and take it casually even if the patient is shouting in pain and doctors - by the way senior doctors whom you consult and pay fees for do not conduct the operation but his juniors do the operation and the senior leaves soon thereafter leaving the patient to mercy of unassuming nurses. My aunt post the operation was brought to the private room withering in pain. I reached in time heard her wail and tell me I am going to die, nurses were unmoved, doctor was absent and I had to take move firmly to and make phone calls in a stern language to get the doctor’s attention. Once she was reexamined they moved her immediately to ICU.
My take is do not feel that the five star facility means the patient will be 100% taken care off without any personal attention from anyone from home standing alert to slippages. Slippages do occur here and these could be very dangerous and need to be dealt firmly calling the attention from the senior most doctors. Do have mobile nos. of all doctors and senior staff, know/ question what is going on, understand it and seek help when you spot anything unusual. Indeed medical insurance is a must or need to have very deep pockets.
